List of services that are included in the monthly HOA fee – The services included in our monthly HOA fee include:
• Cable TV – The HOA has a group contract with Spectrum, and pays for the monthly fee for our monthly cable tv, internet and wi-fi at a discounted rate, much lower than residents would individually pay for similar service. Our cable tv package includes premium channels; HBO Max, Paramount, and Showtime.
• Landscaping – Our landscaping company provides landscaping and gardening services for the common area, and front and back yards of our homes. This service includes the trimming of all trees on our property, including palm trees, and trees in residents’ yards.
• Reserve fund – A percentage of the HOA fee is set aside for the HOA reserve fund.
• Septic system service – All of the homes in our HOA are on a septic system, and have an individual septic tank on their property. The HOA pays to have the septic system maintained every five years.
• Trash/recycling and organics weekly pickup – Burrtec picks up trash and recycling, and trash and organics twice a week.
List of services that the HOA manages from our Reserve/Capital Improvements fund:
• Painting of homes – Homes are repainted every five years on average, or as needed. The HOA hires a contractor and pays for painting out of the capital reserve fund.
• Repaving road and maintenance of the swale – Repaving Tamarisk West 3 is done on an as needed basis, the cost for this maintenance is shared by all three HOA’s in our community, Tamarisk West 1, 2 and 3.
